Just a few Days after Puma released the Puma H-Street Chrome Metallic Gold / Black now it is set to release a new colorway, the Puma Mb.05 Flutter, one of the colorways that a lot of sneakerheads have been waiting to be dropped, and is set to hit the market soon. PUMA and Charlotte Hornets star LaMelo Ball prepare to release the latest iteration of his signature line. Scheduled for a global drop on April 24, 2026, the PUMA MB.05 “Flutter” is already being hailed as a standout entry in the series, blending the line’s signature “out of this world” aesthetic with high-performance engineering.
The “Flutter” colorway features a striking red and black base, accented by iridescent silver “wings” on the heel. This design choice is a direct nod to the delicate yet erratic movement of a butterfly—a fitting metaphor for LaMelo’s unpredictable and high-flying playstyle. As with previous models, the shoe is covered in personal details, including the “1 of 1” branding on the tongue and the iconic “Not From Here” slogan that has defined the Ball brothers’ partnership with PUMA.

Beyond the visuals, the MB.05 is built for the rigors of the modern game. It utilizes PUMA’s proprietary NITROFOAM technology, which provides elite responsiveness and impact protection in a lightweight package. This version also introduces a reinforced TPU heel structure and forefoot straps, offering enhanced support and lateral stability for guards who rely on quick crossovers and sharp changes in direction.
The outsole continues the “rock star” theme of the fifth model, featuring a high-abrasion traction pattern embedded with a unique skull graphic. This ensures that the shoe isn’t just a lifestyle piece but a functional tool for athletes who demand maximum grip on the court.
Puma Mb.05 Flutter Release details
The Puma Mb.05 Flutter is set to be released on April 24th, 2026. Priced at $130, the “Flutter” will be available at Puma.com, the PUMA mobile app, and select retailers like Foot Locker and Champs Sports.
The release of the MB.05 marks a significant milestone in LaMelo Ball’s sneaker history. Since signing his multi-year deal with PUMA in 2020, his signature line has become one of the most popular in the NBA, particularly among younger fans drawn to its bold, neon-forward palettes.
The MB.01 debuted in 2021 as the brand’s first signature basketball shoe since 1999, quickly followed by the wings-inspired MB.02 and the texture-heavy MB.03. With the MB.05, the line has evolved into a more structured, performance-driven silhouette while maintaining the experimental spirit of its predecessors.
